SGDHS staff and students set to ice local OPP

SGDHS staff and students set to ice local OPP

PRESCOTT - The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be playing a hockey game against South Grenville District High School students and staff on Wednesday, February 28. The game will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Leo Boivin Community Centre.

The goal of the charity game is to have fun while raising funds for the Upper Canada District School Board's 'Champions for Kids' program. The program provides funding for students to participate in sporting activities, music lessons or other activities, which they may otherwise not be able to afford.

Each OPP officer participating in the hockey game will contribute $10 dollars towards the cause.

The public is welcome to attend at no cost, but donations to the Champions For Kids will be appreciated.

Come on out and cheer for your local police and students!
